Guide Training and Education

WANDERLAND as an educational organization and as a philanthropic NFP invests in your experience by producing superior guides, with your help.

Wanderland organizes Guide Training Seminars (GTS) that cover a wide variety of vital subjects. We also provide opportunities to guides in all of our destinations to receive funding for advancing their professionalism.

We believe in helping guides shoot for the stars, so that they can be a guiding star in traveler's experiences.

Guide Training takes the form of Seven major Elements:
1. Hard Skills - Sport Specific
2. Safety and Medical
3. Teambuilding,Quality and Service
4. Citizen Science
5. Natural / Cultural History and Geography
6. Personal Stress Management and Finances
7. Foreign Languages and Clear Expression

Wanderland with our talented educators and facilitators, along with our many partners, can offer a variety of GTS Modules that provide Hard and Soft Skills to guides that prepare them for success and sustainability in their chosen profession. We offer these modules as well to travel organizations interested in improving their coordinator quality and thereby customer satisfaction.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: Donate! We use donations to provide funds for guides to achieve the advanced levels of training needed to insure safety and preparedness.
